Thanks to Daniel I've now learned how to post videos... :-)

Really like this idea, and seems the cat does aswell! Found it here!

Love is our fuel

Lovely weather today :-D Not that I notice much of what's happening outdoors when at work, but still, be nice to have sunshine for a change! Wearing my newly made bracelet, two different shades of green. Love it! Mum, I'll make you one aswell ♥ Will have to go back to Panduro soonish, all out of fun pearls ;-) Want bigger pearls, they are great combined with smaller ones, and also want lots of different colours; red, orange, black, white, green... you name it!

Finally got my delivery from http://www.cdon.com/ yesterday, had ordered two books (oh, and two bras from Hennes & Mauritz). Well, finally might not be the word, only been two days..

Melanie Stryder refuses to fade away. The earth has been invaded by a species that takes over the minds of their human hosts while leaving their bodies intact, and most of humanity has succumbed. Wanderer, the invading 'soul' who has been given Melanie's body, knew about the challenges of living inside a human: the overwhelming emotions, the too-vivid memories. But there was one difficulty Wanderer didn't expect: the former tenant of her body refusing to relinquish possession of her mind. Melanie fills Wanderer's thoughts with visions of the man Melanie loves - Jared, a human who still lives in hiding. Unable to separate herself from her body's desires, Wanderer yearns for a man she's never met. As outside forces make Wanderer and Melanie unwilling allies, they set off to search for the man they both love.

And this one, which speaks for itself - crossword puzzles and lots of pottering :-D 205 pages full of fun for Lina on her quest for distractions!

Had a great evening yesterday, mum and dad had already arrived when we got home so went inside and mum kept us company in the kitchen while preparing dinner. Dad discovered a Porsche in the garage so got distracted, he arrived to our apartment later :-) The dinner consisting of gyros was highly appreciated! Went out afterwards for a short walk to get my books that had arrived and to get some buns from our local store, then back home for cappuccino and coffee. And buns. And of course Daniel and I wanted mum and dad to see the short movie we had made for Melvin and Alfred hihihi. I love it when you create something that other people enjoy :-) Looking forward to showing Daniels parents this weekend aswell!

*hugs and kisses*

135 days!

Back at my desk after a tour on the 6th floor and a far-too-short skyping session with Mia, Jan, Alfred and Melvin. Good to see your faces again hihihi! Jan, you weirdo! :-p 135 days to go, I hope there will still be bags in the USA in December, Mia! ;-)

My 4th cup of coffee today, a little hungry and still a stiff neck, good thing the sun is shining inside my head :-) Thanks for your e-mail, Cher! Missed you! :-) Had lunch with Daniel and Stefan at Di Trevi today, unfortunately Mimmi couldn't join us since she's on her diet and have to count calories. She'll be competing in Fitness Five later this year (I think) and has to define her muscles more. Crossing our fingers for her :-)

Advertising

Entered a surf-the-internet-mood since I'm having quite slow and boring days at work... Found proof of why men shouldn't participate in front of the camera when it comes to car ads. Not that these cars would sell well anyway...

Don't you agree?

A car I would buy no matter who was posing in front of it is this one!

I'd feel like Dum & Dumber for real! ;-)

Get off work at 4.30PM today, having mum and dad over for dinner - gyros! Gyros is a dish consisting of meat, tomato and cucumber (I always add tzatziki sauce aswell) and is served with pita bread. Soo yummy! First time I tried it was in Arboga, had never heard of it before that. Can definately recommend it :-D Will see if there will be time for a long walk afterwards or if it's time for bed. Early day tomorrow (can't wait for Friday hihihi), have to remember to bring all the magazines you've left me, Mia! Internet is all out now...

Oh, and this is me at work... Can hardly tell I'm alive, can you? ;-)

Unfortunate personal names for their jobs...

Candidate Oliver Loser. It seems we have a winner.

Some guys were just born into their jobs.

Kim Yoo Suck - no matter how well you perform, when the crowd starts
chanting your name you can't help but be reminded.

A weekend of relaxing in Arboga

Sunday today and slept till noon hahaha! Interesting how our bodies have adapted to a less healthy exhaust fumes level, so when you go out to the countryside you seem to get an oxygen overdose and sleep far too much!

Anywho.. ;-) Arrived Friday around 5PM, went to Asplunds for some food shopping and then straight to the house. Daniel fired up the BBQ and we had fillet made of pork and a stunningly well tasting potatoe gratin, along with a glass of red wine. After dinner we went out to make a corny movie to amuse the american boys Alfred and Melvin, looking something like this:

Thank you, Tord and Lena, for lending us the John Deere tractors and the hoods!

Making the movie took us quite some time, and after a while of Skyping with the Skantz family around 2AM we went to bed. Woke up late Saturday morning, had breakfast and then went out to meet the warm and sunny day.

Daniel's mum and dad (Lena and Tord) are proud owners of a Willys MB, a jeep from 1943 that was at the Normandy beachlandings during the WW2, and since the weather was so great we decided to take it out of the garage for a spin :-D It seemed happy to get out and ran smoothely.. Very windy but super nice! Our baby BMW is posing in the background, a true beauty! Could use a shower though..

The clouds began to darken so we hurried back to the house for the laundry we had hung outside, but apparently the sun always shines on Hjälmsäter ;-) Hopped into our car and went for some shopping, had an ice cream outside of Asplunds, and then went home. I watered the plants in the house and on the terrace (wish our orcids were as nice looking at yours, Lena!) and did the dishes while Daniel mowed the lawn. Then another dinner of BBQ and some well earned slopping in front of the TV downstairs. An hour of Skyping with the Skantz family earned us this (secretly taken) screenshot:

Time to get dressed and let the jeep out again, we need food!
Hugs and kisses!

It is time!

Well, in a few hours.. :-D Bags are packed, sunglasses in the car (beautiful baby BMW!) and mood is high - can't wait! Apparently the weathergods will be merciful and provide the weather that suits our activities (no rain then i take it?). We haven't decided on which day yet but will be going to Mantorp for some dragracing (ear defenders.. check!), and hopefully be able to spend some time outdoors for the rest of the weekend aswell. I've packed a pair of shorts and I really hope I'll be able to use them without freezing to death - don't you think it's time to give us a summer worth it's name soon?! I hear Stefan and Benny will be going to Mantorp aswell so perhaps we'll all meet up for some joint admiring of burnout marks..

Went to the gym last night (second time this week so we haven't been tooo active hehe, but for good reasons of course! haha) which felt really nice. Fitness training only, just like on Monday, I did 3 kilometres of rowing and 4 kilometres on the bicycle, Daniel ran 6 kilometres on the treadmill. I'm so impressed cos he didn't stop once for rest but kept running and running and ruuuunning. Very motivating! Don't forget the surgeon tape next time ;-) Rest of the evening we did some packing, washing and tidying, so didn't finish Donnie Darko. Spoke to mum and dad on the phone and their car had broken down on the way to Lingbo (our summer house), apparently the alternator needs fixing. So, turns out Daniels old BMW 325 from 1988 gets to go to Lingbo hihi! Sweet little brother Fredrik for lending his car ♥

Read my horoscope this morning and I can't say it was promising.. "Lina, You have a strong and impulsive need to spend a lot of money today for some reason (now that's a surprise), and you should be extremely careful, particularly with any purchase paid for by credit cards. You may regret an impulsive purchase of sporting goods or entertainment devices (does that mean the sporting bras and pants I ordered wont fit?)."

Tip of the day regarding music: Are We the Waiting - Green Day
I'm thankful for: Robert's Coffee and their friendly staff!

With love!

Thursday 23 July 2009

Good morning :-)

Well, it's already 9.30AM but still.. ;-) At work drinking a cup of coffee after a super healthy breakfast made of porrige. One thing is true about porrige and that is - you do get full. That's about it.

Yesterday was yet another calm day, got home from work after some shopping at Coop (food) and prepared dinner; tacos! Was great :-D Sat down in the kitchen and did some skyping with the Skantz family in the USA, sent Mew in Thailand an e-mail and began watching Donnie Darko with Jake Gyllenhaal, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Drew Barrymore. Maggie is oh so pretty and you can tell they are siblings for real the way they act hahaha!

"A troubled teenager (Jake Gyllenhaal) is plagued by visions of a large bunny rabbit that manipulates him to commit a series of crimes, after narrowly escaping a bizarre accident."

Not quite sure I can recommend it hihi, it's weird but kind of I-like-it-weird. Will let you know tomorrow what I think, I'm sure we'll see the rest of it after the gym tonight :-) Yes, gym tonight, Lina can bend her arms now! It's amazing what two days of resting can accomplish..

Greatest feeling: looking forward to tomorrow after work when the-best-Daniel-in-the-world and I are going to Arboga for the weekend, and hopefully to Mantorp for some dragracing if the weather allows! Don't tell anyone, I'm sure it's criminal being this happy.. ♥ ♥ ♥

Wednesday 22 July 2009

Wednesday already?

So.. Woke up this morning and wondered what day it was.. In a really good mood but sort of foggy, so I'm really looking forward to the cappuccino Vicky is bringing me.. Thank you beib :-)

Didn't go to the gym yesterday, can't extend my arms properly due to my muscles aching, so would be hellish trying to lift weights hihi. We continued looking at Pirates of the Carribbean (number three) instead (and kept the couch warm) and miiiight be doing that tonight aswell as I could really use another calm evening. Will see later on how my body is coming on..

Here comes Vicky with the LURVELY cappuccino, gotta go! Byeeeee! Hugs to you all!

144 days to go!

Getting closer, 144 days to go now and CAN'T WAIT! Best part is to see you guys again, (Mia, Jan, Melvin and Alfred), and get to see what Pittsburg looks like in it's winter dress. Also looking forward to seeing the Niagra Falls and Canada, and being a tourist in Washington DC - there is a spy museum in Washington that has real spy tours! Err, well... real for us mortals, that is... ;-)

"Now see the city as a spy by taking a GPS-guided tour of DC and its neighborhoods. It’s your chance to explore the spy capital of the world, as we send you clues, codes, audio intercepts, and everything you need to complete your secret mission. Not to mention all the history, mystery and landmarks along the way." http://www.spymuseum.org/

So darn cool it makes my head spin! Now, is there any way to make the remaining days pass by any faster?

Monday 20 July 2009

Smile and wave boys, just smile and wave...

Daniel bought me an extra strong cappuccino (yum!) this morning and it scared Mr. Fatigue away - ready for yet another manic Monday! To do list (not nessecarily in the order mentioned):

1. Order clothes from H&M
2. Have a look at http://www.joann.com/ for jewellery and beads (thanks Mia, you're the best!)
3. Finish a Taipei game on http://www.icakuriren.se/
4. Talk to Daniel
5. Long for the gym
6. Read fashion magazines etc (thank you again Mia!)
7. Drink water
8. While away the time with Vicky

Might add to the list later on... Oh, right!

9. Work

*cough*

Sunday 19 July 2009

1+1=3?

Just gotten off the phone with Alfred, Melvin and Jan in the USA, lucky them for getting to ride a Cessna 182 (picture to the left, found on Google). Mia, it's a good thing you're staying on the ground since we will be wanting pictures :-)

My cousin is visiting from Luleå (faaar up north) for a couple of days now so he came to our place for a date this evening, also my brother Fredrik, his girlfriend Stephanie and my mum and dad decided to join in on the fun. Cupcakes, buns and those LOVERLY italian crust cookies - could it be any better? Started today with a gym session so really felt we deserved some sugar in our poor, dehydrated veins mohahaha! Also, for being so good with the vaccuum cleaner and tidying of course... ;-) Feels great when everything is where it should be and all the wads are taken care of (aka KILLED)!

OOOH, Melvin and Alfred, we've found you guys a REALLY cool calculator!
They also come in blue and look like a giant piece of LEGO, nice huh? :-) I wish I'd had one when I was younger, might have been more interested in math... My math teacher was also a teacher in technology, which I'm sure he kind of regretted (badly) when I ACCIDENTLY hit his thumb with a hammer... Not on purpose though, he was holding the nail for me and I just... missed it...

Time for our beauty sleep, take care everyone! Hugs!

Improvement

Feeling better today ;-) Have had one extra strong latte (in the morning) and one extra strong cappuccino (after lunch) so I think I might be high on caffeine... Get off work at 4.30PM today, off for a short detour, then back home and off to the gym. Really looking forward to this evening - going to the gym is great fun! I've discovered muscles I didn't even know I had! And relaxing in the sofa afterwards is niiice as you really think you deserve it after some working out hihihi! The biggest reason for feeling so good though (with a great risk of sounding like a lovesick fool - which I am, I know, I admit it!) is Daniel.

Right... back to work... See you later all, MWAH!

Wednesday 15 July 2009

Busy afternoon

Left from work at 3.10 PM after some quality hugging-Daniel time. Arrived at Lindas palace around 3.30 and we both got seated on (one) of her balconies (the biggest one) for some coffee and a cigarett (for her). Such lovely weather today, hot and sunny! Always having a good time at your place, Linda :-)

Got home tired and aching (my poor muscles) and managed to get to Sickla Köpcentrum (a shopping mall not far from where we live) in time to get Daniel a tie for the funeral on Friday and me a pair of pumps. I drove both forth and back - dear God I love our car! The new rims are just peeeerfect! Oh, and I got me a mascara aswell... and a lotion... Å from Åhlens is a great brand.

Not looking forward till tomorrow at all, today at work was soo slow it nearly killed me. Bleh. Wish we were on holiday now.

Tuesday 14 July 2009

Bodybuilding ftw! ;-)

Back from the gym and had dinner made of meat and sallad with watermelon, yum! We both feel very motivated and it's great fun being back to working out, no more colds now please! Been to the gym twice this week (Monday and Tuesday), resting tomorrow, then back Thursday and Saturday. Starting next week we will be there Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday - wish us luck!

Going home to my fun and fancy Linda tomorrow which I'm really looking forward to :-)

Sunday 12 July 2009

Sunday, bloody Sunday..

Had plans for today. Had hoped the cold would've faded so we could've gone to the gym, but nooooo, let's torment the poor nooblets some more please! So, change of plans - no gym today. We've placed ourselves at the kitchen table with a computer each and I wouldn't be surprised if the rest of the day stays in this same pace.. Quite comfortable actually :-) Real shame the cupcake factory in our neighbourhood is closed Sundays :-(

Boring weather so a bath worthy a true fashionista would've been nice...

found on http://hem.feber.se/?p=5

And perhaps some assistance cleaning the windows...

found on http://hem.feber.se/?p=6

Tip of the day: JigZone. That's where I'll be. /mwah!

Due to popular demand

Went to Daniels parents after work on Friday, had some nice red wine (of which I've forgotten the name already) and BBQ - awesome :-) Stayed the night and Daniel did some fixing on (one of) the cars, the Datsun 240Z (who would've guessed it's a Nissan?!). Had lunch (I LOVE that food, Lena!) and then went back to Stockholm to hide ourselves under a blanket, watch a movie and to be lazy for a while.

While watching The Wrestler - a truly tragic story which made my tummy hurt and tears dwell - I decided to focus a little on making jewellery, a far more happy ending! ;-) The first two are, as you can see, mostly with white pearls. Think I'll be needing a better camera than my phone because they do look a lot better than they appear on the pictures, can't zoom very well...

Following five bracelets are a little more colourful. I've made the pink one with you in mind, Melvin, since i know you love pink :-) Alfred, I'm still looking for tractor shaped pearls! Mum, was going to surprise you with the amber ones but couldn't help putting them up here :-) Gimme a shout if anyone else'd like one, they're great fun to make! And not too expensive ;-)

Would have loved to show you the cookie and coffee, mon Cherie, but the cookie was all eaten :-( Here is our coffee machine though, ready to take your order! :-)

In bed now, been coughing, sneezing and blowing my nose a lot. Hydrocefalus. Bought a new tea, green tea with lemon in it, hoping that will cure me (along with the added honey) now that the cognac didn't.. Oh, and munching sugar free "fruity fresh Vicks" with raspberry flavor!
Sleep well everyone!

Thursday 9 July 2009

Pearls for girls!

Got the most brilliant idea today.. Did some research in the afternoon, called Daniel for the moral support (and the company of course) and then rushed to the car once our working day was over. Panduro, here we come!

Barely had time to go shop for dinner but then realized I could definitely use the energy. Had tacos (which is yummy!) while watching TV and then - time to unleash the pearls onto the livingroom table! Made two sets of earrings and two bracelets, great fun!

My dad joined us for some cookies and coffee in the evening which was very nice! :-) Shame Daniel ate ALL the watermelon though, right dad?

Time for bed else I wont have the strength to wear all the new jewellery tomorrow ;-) Byeeee!

Wednesday 8 July 2009

C is for Cookie!

Another day at work, and oh my god it's slow! I'm out of good websites to scan now, ordered some clothes (not too expensive, I promise!), continously drinking tea, and longing for my bed at home. Stupid throat and annoying, annoying, annoying cold. Keep thinking about Thailand and how fun we had, Daniel and I - really want to go back there some day! Best vacation ever :-D Might have to try to find some other, more fitting, helmets for our moped excursions though ;-)

Made a choccolate cookie last night for today as we're having Micha and Yorda over. Apparently Yorda has been talking about our coffee all weekend so i suppose they do have some ulterior motives with visiting ;-) Remind me to get whipped cream for ze cookie!

C is for cookie, thats good enough for me
C is for cookie, thats good enough for me
C is for cookie, thats good enough for me
Cookie, cookie, cookie starts with C!

Tuesday 7 July 2009

Brilliant!

Just finished watching the film Bedtime Stories with Adam Sandler in it, and we were both surprised at how GOOD IT WAS :-) A warm and fuzzy-feeling-movie starring Adam Sandler (ooh we all know Adam Sandler, don't we? ^^), Courteney Cox (Friends - my favourite show!) and Keri Russell (Felicity), the guinea pig Bugsy (with eyes that'd look big on a cow) and two gourgeous kids. Can definately recommend it :-D

"A family comedy about a hotel handyman whose life changes when the lavish bedtime stories he tells his niece and nephew start to magically come true, and so, Skeeter tries to manoeuver the stories into a direction which will make his dream come true, too."

Tuesday evening..

Just got off Skype, talking to the best family in the United States! Great fun to see your gorgeous faces again, even though it's been only a week since your journey started and we last saw you. Very good looking armored tanks, Alfred and Melvin! We are really looking forward to seeing you guys (and gal ofcourse!) in December :-D

OK, so what to do tonight then? Been damp and chilly all day - the perfect movie night! But what movie to pick? Have two to chose from; The Wrestler with Mickey Rourke and Bedtime Stories with Adam Sandler. Perhaps we'll be able to squeeze them both in, mohaha.

Hope my soar throat will feel better after a good movie, some tea with honey and hanging out with the best person in the world!

PS. Made reservations for December now! WOHOOO!

./mwah!

Nissan GT-R

Went out with Daniel and Micha for lunch at 11.50 AM and guess what
Daniel had spotted from peeking out the window - a Nissan GT-R -09, 480HP,
0-97 km/h in 3.2 seconds, with a top speed of 311 km/h..!
Yes, there was drooling.

Back...

..to reading this again.. suddenly, being a vampire doesn't sound so bad ;-)

Monday 6 July 2009

Armadillo!

Been a long day today... Up e a r l y and sloooow at work, can really tell most people's gone off on holiday now! :-D Went to a local electronics retail store after dinner to buy a High Definition Digital Box and turns out it's the worst store on the planet regarding serviceminded people! Or rather, the LACK of serviceminded people... I've found something to cheer me up though - the coolest handbag ever! Found on http://www.roligaprylar.se/Armadillo-Handbag.html

Time for some Skype calling to Pittsburgh! Have a good evening :-)
