Frekventa uppdateringar inom action, komedi och romatiskt dravel från vårt liv; två lite halvgalna vuxna, ett mirakel (sonen) och en röd Sibirisk katt söder om Stockholm. Välkomna!

...and Mother's Day
A long awaited visit from England; Richard arrived Friday (one suitcase short) and we've been doing our best to make him feel welcome. Did some shopping Friday night (toothbrush, deodorant) and went to get hime some new clothes on Saturday.
The weather has been awesome so far so on Saturday we went to café Lyran for "fika" and lunch, then went to my brother and his family for BBQ in the evening. Sunday morning we rushed to get ready, then went to Västerås for the Rocklunda fair where we met Daniels parents. Elliot and I watched Richard and Daniel get crushed by G-forces in the carousel mohaha :-)
Not a single call for the suitcase all weekend so on our way back home we stopped by Arlanda, and behold - THE SUITCASE! So now Richard is a happy bunny :-)
Tomorrow will begin with another visit to the vet with Elmo and his eye infection, then Richard, Elliot and I are off for Old Town or the shopping mall in Täby Centrum - a weather dependant decision. Tuesday we're off to Taxinge ("fika heaven") and Texas Longhorn in the evening.
I hope you are all well ★

Took a trip to our now sold summer house in Lingbo last night - long evening but satisfying, if I may say. Had to break into the storage underneath the house but left money for a new lock (had already checked with the new owner and this was ok ;-)). Now, finally, it feels like I've had my closure with this house!
The pictures below shows some extra special things in our hearts; the hammock where dad took naps in the summer, the grill dad built from scratch, the roof where we laid new tiles (and I was terrified of the height and wouldn't let go of the ladder), dads pile of sand which he used for mixing cement, and the memorial where dad lies.
When back to Stockholm I had some trouble getting back to our place as nearly EVERY road (well, E4/E20 to be exact, and the Eugenia tunnel) had been shut off for the night due to mainetenance - took me over an hour to get home from Upplands Väsby! Usually a lot shorter than that. Too dark, too late and too tired to fully enjoy the scenic route via the midst of Stockholm City and all the night walkers and taxis...
Was finally in bed somewhere between 00 and 00.30, and up again before 6 BECAUSE THAT'S WHEN IT'S MORNING in the world of Elliot.
Good morning folks!! ★

That's how many hours I've slept tonight. In TOTAL. I've been thinking I'd start posting here how long I've walked every day, like a challenge, but perhaps I'll just start taking notes on how long I've slept every night instead.
Weather yesterday was pure awesomeness so Elliot and I walked to Liljeholmen again (an hours walk) for some book shopping and later a "fika" with Sara. Have you seen Game of Thrones? Daniel and I have seen one show; now I'm reading the books instead and they're really great :-) Me likey fantasy!
Friday draws nearer which means we'll soon get to meet "Richard of England" again. He'll be visiting Friday through Wednesday and we have lots planned! Rich, you sleepyhead, it shall be very interesting to see how you cope with the Freij family sleeping pattern haha
Had plans to go to Emma today but Elliot efficiently puts an end to those adventures when keeping me up like this. Again. I IZ TIRED!
Have a fab Tuesday! ★
