Sunday, lovely Sunday

Good morning! Sitting in the sofa watching Gilmore Girls (love this show!), just had breakfast. Looks like this miiiiight be somewhat of a slow day with no "musts", we did all the cleaning and tidying yesterday - LOVELY feeling! Morris and Diesel were super cozy this morning; Morris loves cuddling under the blanket close to you and Diesel parks himself over your legs (which I doubt is very comfortable). Just got myself a second cup of coffee, yum! That's another thing I love - the smell of coffee in the morning! Especially when there are no "musts" ;-)

Been watching Biggest Loser on TV a lot these past months, Jillian Michaels is AWESOME! And so Daniel found the Xbox game Biggest Loser on eBay in England (it's not sold in stores in Sweden) so now we have it in our own livingroom! It's great fun, you get to chose from several different programs focusing on different things, like building muscles, getting in better condition overall or losing weight. Daniel and I got it started the same day we got it and I can honestly say it's great! Had muscle ache for several days haha! Next session is coming up today - Jillian Michaels in our home! Or Bob Harper if you prefer.

Yesterday was dedicated to cleaning and tidying, as mentioned earlier, and then I made a cake as Caroline was coming over. We helped her get a Dolce Gusto coffee machine during the Christmas Holiday sales, we found one for 1272 SEK instead of 1590 SEK! Sadly they didn't have it in black but the grey looked just as nice :-) She sent me a picture after getting back home telling me she had just made a cup of chocolate (yes, it's a magical machine, it doesn't only do coffee but chocolate too). Perhaps when we move into our own house we can have a small guest house in the garden and put one of these in it! :-)

Today is my fathers birthday, January 4, he should have been 61 today.

When I woke up this morning I remembered having a dream tonight. Daniel and I were staying over at my mums while she was staying in our apartment (don't ask me why), we had made the bed in the room where they keep the computer. When we woke in the morning I went to the kitchen (or the bathroom, can't remember). Daniel stayed in the room, and when I got back dad was sitting in the red chair by the desk. He was facing the room and had his back at the door, but when he heard me he turned around and smiled at me. I was startled at first, but then I started crying with happiness to see him again, and sorrow that he is gone. He told me that he came here because he wanted to hug me again, and so we hugged for a long time. He had his grey-blue knitted cardigan, it felt rough against my cheek and hands but it smelled just like him.

He didn't stay for very long, and after he was gone I woke up.

Yamaha NP30

Today, after not had a piano for SEVERAL years, Daniel and I went to Musikbörsen on Sankt Eriksgatan 58 to purchase a digital piano - the Yamaha NP30!!! It has a great sound, 76 keys, graded soft touch, can add different sounds (like strings etc), has a built-in metronome and dual voice mode. So went to my mums quickly afterwards to pick up all my notes and then went back to our place to unpack and start playing :-D It's wonderful to see how it all comes back to me when playing, I can start looking at the notes and have no clue, but then I can just play it!

OH HOW I HAVE MISSED HAVING A PIANO ♥
